Client bundles, assembled

Send one document, not nine attachments.

Drop in the PDFs, the spreadsheets, the Word letter and the email. Put them in the order you want. Get back one PDF with a cover page, a contents list and a bookmark for every document — named the way your practice names things.

Free tier at launch, limited by bundles a month. No card to try it.

A finished client bundle open in a PDF reader A PDF reader window titled Example-Client-Year-End-2026-03-31.pdf. The left sidebar lists seven bookmarks: cover page, letter to client, financial statements, tax return IR4, bank summary, invoice 1042, and an email from the client dated 14 August. The page on the right is a generated cover page on Example Accountancy Limited letterhead, headed “Client bundle” for Example Client Limited, year ended 31 March 2026, with a numbered contents list showing the page each document starts on, a faint diagonal watermark reading “Draft — not for distribution”, and a bundle reference printed at the foot.
A bundle as the client receives it. Every name shown is a placeholder.

Who it is for

If you send a client a bundle of documents, this was built for you.

Same software, same price, whatever the trade. What differs is the bundle each one produces.

Accountants and bookkeepersYear-end bundles, filing bundles, billing support.
Lawyers and conveyancersSettlement bundles, exhibits in a fixed order.
Property managersInspection reports with photographs, tenancy bundles.
Insurance brokersClaim bundles, renewal bundles.
Builders and tradesQuotes with specifications, certificates and plans.
ConsultantsProposals with appendices, reports with schedules.

The Friday afternoon

Nine attachments. The client opens three.

The statements, the letter, the tax return, the invoice and the scan of the bank summary all go out on one email, each named whatever it happened to be called when it was saved.

The client opens the first three, cannot tell which is which, and replies asking for the one you already sent. Somewhere in that thread the version numbers stop matching.

What comes out

One PDF, in order, that explains itself.

Six things happen in a single pass. Every one of them is free somewhere, on its own. Assembled, in one step, from one screen, in the same shape every time — they are not.

The same client bundle, with its six generated parts numbered The same PDF reader window, annotated with six numbered markers: one on the bookmark sidebar, two on the cover page heading, three on the contents list, four on a page number in the contents, five on the filename in the window title bar, and six on the bundle reference at the foot of the page. 1 2 3 4 5 6

One bookmark per documentThe client opens the bundle and jumps straight to the tax return. This is the part they notice.
  2. 2
A cover page, generatedYour letterhead, the client, the bundle type, the period and the date. Written for you, not typed again.
  3. 3
A contents list with page numbersEvery document in the bundle, in the order you set, with the page it starts on.
  4. 4
A watermark on every pageFrom a list you control. Draft, copy, for review — whatever your practice uses.
  5. 5
A filename your practice recognisesBuilt from client, bundle type and date. Each part optional, and the same every time.
  6. 6
A reference written inside the fileStored in the PDF's own properties, so the bundle stays identifiable after somebody renames it.

How it works

Three steps, on one screen.

Not a system to roll out. A task, finished in about the time it takes to write the covering email — though we will not put a number on that until somebody has measured one.

1

Add the documents

Drag in whatever you have. Word, Excel and email files are converted as they land, so there is nothing to do first.

2

Set the order

Drag to reorder. Drop the blank page at the end of a scan, turn the one that came in sideways, preview any page at full size.

3

Produce the bundle

Cover page, contents, bookmarks, watermark and filename in one pass. Download it, or send it from your own mailbox.

What it accepts

Including the email itself.

  • PDF
  • Word
  • Excel
  • Plain text
  • Outlook email (.msg)
  • Scans
  • Files that are not PDFs are converted automatically as they are added.
  • An email becomes a header page carrying From, To, Date and Subject, with its attachments following it.
  • Duplicate filenames are handled, not silently overwritten.
  • Your original files are never altered.

What it is not

A short, honest list.

  • Not a document store. Your files stay wherever you already keep them.
  • Not a client portal. The bundle goes out the way you send things now.
  • Not practice management, and not a signing tool.
  • Not a general PDF editor. It does one job and stops.

If you needed one of those, better you find out here than after paying for it.

Setting it up

Sending from your own mailbox takes one configuration.

Bundles will go out from your address, not ours. Your client sees an email from their accountant, and when they reply it comes back to you — which is the whole point, and it is also the part that needs setting up once.

If your practice runs on Office 365, sending on your behalf has to be authorised inside your own Microsoft tenant before the first bundle can go out. It is configured against a named mailbox — usually the person sending, or a shared address the practice already uses for client correspondence.

It is done once, by one of two routes. Nothing is installed on anyone's computer either way.

Your administrator configures it

We provide written instructions, specific to your setup, for whoever looks after your Microsoft 365. They keep control of the tenant throughout and we are given no access to it.

Recommended

We configure it for you

Faster, and nothing for your people to work through. It requires a Global Administrator account for your Microsoft 365 tenant.

That is the highest level of access in Microsoft 365. Plenty of firms and their IT providers will not hand it to a supplier, and that is a reasonable position — which is why the first option exists.

If you do not use Office 365, tell us what you do use when you get in touch and we will say plainly whether it is supported yet.

Where your client's documents go

The question that decides this purchase, answered plainly.

You handle other people's financial and personal papers, so you are entitled to a specific answer rather than a slogan. Here is exactly where this stands in September 2026.

  • Bundlewright will be a hosted service. You will sign in through a browser. Your documents will be uploaded to our service to be assembled, and the finished bundle comes back to you.
  • There will be no version that runs only on your own machine. Some competitors offer that and it is a fair reason to choose one of them. We would rather say so here than have you discover it after signing up.
  • It is not open yet. Nothing on this site describes the hosted service as though it already exists.
  • Before it opens, and before we take a payment, the security page will name the country your documents are held in, how long they are kept, what deletion actually does, who inside this company can see a document and in what circumstances, and every sub-processor that touches one.
  • We hold no security certifications. When that changes we will name the report and its date. Until then there are no badges on this site, because a badge with no report behind it is the kind of thing a careful buyer catches in a minute.

One thing worth knowing about New Zealand

New Zealand holds an adequacy decision from the European Commission, so personal data can move from the EU to New Zealand without additional safeguards. If you act for clients with European interests, that is a real answer to a question they may one day ask you.

Where the service itself will be hosted is a separate question, and it is one of the things named on the security page before anyone is asked to pay.

Who is behind it

Two New Zealand companies, not a brand with nobody behind it.

Bundlewright is developed jointly by Virtual Office Collective Limited and Tanglin Consultancy Limited. Both are New Zealand companies, and both put their names to it here because a new product with no visible owner is a reasonable thing to be wary of.

The software is not somebody else's tool repackaged. It was built to do a job these two firms needed doing, and it is being sold because other firms turn out to have the same job.

Talking to a person

Support and enquiries go to a monitored mailbox at Tanglin Consultancy, and a person answers within one working day.

support@tanglinconsultancy.co.nz

Company registration details for both companies appear at the foot of this page.

Price

On the page, where it belongs.

$29 per user, per month,
excluding GST. Monthly or annually.

There is a free tier, limited by how many bundles you make in a month — not by stamping a watermark on your work or locking the cover page. A crippled free tier only teaches you the product is worse than it is.

What the price does not do

  • No setup fee, no minimum term, no per-bundle charge on a paid plan.
  • No feature held back for an enterprise tier that does not exist.
  • Cancel and your bundles are still yours — they are ordinary PDFs sitting wherever you saved them.

Overseas pricing, currency and the treatment of GST for non-New-Zealand customers are settled before the first payment is taken.
